Distribution Lists related to Crystallography

Other lists may be found in a variety of places. See, for instance:

For each list, we indicate (when known):

Biosciences

BIOSCI promotes communication between professionals in the biological sciences. The server, at URL: http://www.bio.net/ gives a long list of mailing list in the domain of Biosciences.

Clay Minerals

A listserver for the Clay Minerals Society has been established at Purdue University.

High Precision Diffraction and Topography

The HPDT list is devoted to all techniques related to high precision diffraction (monochromators, multiple crystals diffraction...), Standing Waves methods and topography. It was established following X-Top 94 in Berlin.

International Union of Crystallography

The IUCr general interest list distributes all kinds of information, including positions and available post-docs in various countries.

mmCIF Macromolecular Crystallographic Information File

The mmCIF dictionary was released for public review in August of 1995, and that review process has now been completed.

Neutron Scattering

E-mail server in order to provide an efficient method of communication between members of the neutron scattering community worldwide.

Physics News Update

This is a "Physics News Update" distributed by Phillip Schewe of AIP Public Information.

Rietveld Users Mailing List

This list is dedicated to powder diffraction and structure refinement based on Rietveld methods.

Small-Angle Scattering

Persons who are interested in receiving occasional electronic mail bulletins regarding small angle scattering can subscribe to a new Internet listserver established by the ACA Small Angle Scattering SIG.

Surface Science

The purpose of this list is general discussion of all aspects of surface science, including (but not necessarily limited to) techniques, instrumentation, analytical procedure, data interpretation and possible applications. Also, conference and workshop listings and job postings are welcome. It is intended for anyone interested in the field.

The very-low-grade metamorphism mailing list

The list is intended to provide a forum for discussion and rapid communication encompassing the following topics
