Crystallography Related Newsgroups with Example Discussions

This section deals with Internet newsgroups of particular interest to crystallographers. More general information on newsgroups can be found in the section Internet Newsgroup - General Information.

Three examples taken recently from the crystallography newsgroup sci.techniques.xtallography illustrate its powerful facility to circulate opinions and discussion topics as well as queries and solutions:

This general crystallographic discussion usenet newsgroup was created on the 14th October, 1993. It has a homepage at http://www.unige.ch/crystal/stxnews/stx/welcome.htm.

For those people without direct newsgroup connection sci.techniques.xtallography may be accessed via email.
